Logee's

Perhaps we've become jaded.
More likely we ran out of room for plants.
But we should not have stopped going to Logee's Greenhouse.
I was glad to return when a friend
that works in Maine greenhouses
asked us to join her visit
to our local gem.
We made our way through the longhouse,
to the fern house,
escaped out to the herb house,
entered the main complex through the potting house,
before making it to the big house.
The variety of plants,
blossoms,
and even fruits, amaze.
The larger specimens
are rootbound in their hothouse.
There are smaller plants for sale, of course.
It is also a great place
for a winter's hike.
I should remember that this year.
