Yesterday was a driving day, Nashville to Oklahoma City. Smokies to the Ozarks. We stopped to do some shopping and ran into a couple that was circumnavigating the country much as our selves.
While replacing a lost lens cap I related to the wistful Best Buy clerk that my first job was selling stereos and cameras.
Then the road. Miles and miles of road.
We hit a traffic jam in the valley and I opened the windows. A 90 degree gust pulled every bit of conditioned air from the car. But it was still beautiful.
A well timed traffic jam woke me up and I thought of my wife.

I chased a rainbow and found more beauty.

I gave the shirt off my back.
We arrived at our destination late, tired, and safe.
