I truly want to have a conversation about photo editing.  Each of these images were created by combining the same five still shots, yet they evoke different emotions  and express different ideas. I am submitting all four to a stock photo site just to learn what will be approved and not. While I do not agree with all the decisions made on my photos at this site, the people screening them are fellow photographers and have valid input. While there might be future earnings of my uploads, I value the learning curve and the constructive criticism I receive more. It is improving my photography, so I shall continue for that reason alone.

Hands and machines   working side by side  to create and individual if somewhat standardized expression of music and art.  The amount of craftsman, a term I do not use lightly,  that touch each guitar is comforting.  But to maintain production levels,   to ensure no fingerprints under a high gloss finish, or precision cuts that create a life long dovetail requires some machinery. Electronics and  fretwork is still done by hand for many models.  Rigorous quality checks once created dumpster divers at the factory. The old factory (pictured above) was put to use to re-purpose rejected components for people that want to buy kits or parts that luthiers and apprentices can purcha

I'm still gathering my thoughts from my recent trip to the Poconos. Here's a little fellow to entertain you until I can write in my normal incoherent manner. Nuts. You looking at me? I'm outta here!
