Jim Stahr has a Different Year

I recently found a Christmas Village in northeast Ct. akin to the wonders of Roadside America . Filled with small details like flying balloons, carolers, waterfalls, a zoo, and amusement parks with Santa flying overhead. It takes a while to take it all in. But this is not just one man's hobby; he is raising money to feed local families. He is running a contest - guess how many trees - at a dollar an entry. My best childhood memories are centered around horses.  My nostalgia on a recent visit to Wolf Den Friesians left me without words for new memories. A short hike in the area introduced other new friends, and provided time to reflect.
